Resurrection of Christ Church
The Resurrection of Christ Church is also dedicated to the Three Confessors, Ss Guri, Samon and Aviv, and is sometimes known by that name. It was completed in 1731 using the funds of a local merchant. It was closed in 1917 and two tiers of its bell tower were subsequently destroyed. It was later used to hold a museum until it was returned to the Orthodox Church in 1996 and reopened in 1997.
