Vyazma
Vyazma is located between Smolensk and Moscow and in its history it has suffered at the hands of the armies of both Napoleon and Hitler. As a result the city has been named a City of Military Glory. The city once had a kremlin to help defend Russia’s western border, but today only one tower of it survives. In addition the city also boasts an unusual church in the form of the Hodegetria Church - one of only three triple-tented churches in Russia.
