Museum of Everyday Life in Tver

 

The Museum of Everyday Life in Tver was opened in 1970 inside a merchant's house dating from the 17th century. As its name suggests the museum is dedicated the everyday lives of the people of the Tver Governorate and focuses on the decorative-applied art created by the city's artisan and peasant class. The museum is run as part of the Tver State Unified Museum.
