Aleksandr Pushkin Monument
This monument to Aleksandr Pushkin was unveiled in 1974 and is the work of the renowned sculptor Oleg Komov. The monument depicts Russia's most beloved poet leaning up against a railing wearing a top hat with his coat hanging over his arm. The monument's position on the bank of the River Volga opposite the Resurrection of Christ Church and the Afanasi Nikitin Monument means that it a favourite place for posing for photographs.
