Situated on the corner of Ulitsa Tverskaya and Ulitsa Okhotny Ryad is the building of the State Duma of the Russian Federation which is the Lower House of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation: the body which serves as the country's legislature. It is here where Russia's elected deputies meet to discuss bills. The building itself is a giant grey Soviet-style monolith which dates from the 1930s.
