The State Central Museum of Modern Russian History is located in the grand building of what was once the Moscow English Club. In 1917 the building was given over to be used as a museum dedicated to the Russian Revolution. In 1998 the museum was renamed the Museum of Modern Russian History and was renovated to cover a broader range of history from the Russian Revolution up to present day.
