Located in the Osterman Estate along with the Museum of Decorative Applied and Folk Art is an interesting exhibition run by the State Central Museum of Modern Russian History.   The exhibit is also related to decorative applied art and recreates the interiors of Russian houses through the ages.  It includes scenes from imperial Russia's estate houses; Soviet era kommunalkas, barracks and living rooms; post-Soviet markets, bars and hotels; and modern day apartments.
