Just beyond the Garden Ring is the large Osterman Estate House which is now home to the Museum of Decorative Applied and Folk Art, which was established in 1999 upon the merging of several art museums.    The museum exhibits items of decorative applied art and folk art from the 16th century up to present day, including jewelry, samovars, ironwork and china and glass ware of various styles.
