The street running parallel to the west of Ulitsa Dolgorukovskaya is Ulitsa Fadeeva and the Mikhail Glinka Central Museum of Music is located here. The museum was founded in 1912 and is the head organisation of several Moscow museums dedicated to famous Russian musicians. The museum has an exhibit of musical instruments of various peoples from around the world. In addition the museum has its own recording studio.
