Konstantin Stanislavsky House-Museum
Slightly further down Leontievsky Pereulok from the Russian Doll Museum is the Konstantin Stanislavsky House-Museum. The museum is located in the mansion where the actor and creator of the Stanislavsky system spent the last 17 years of his life. The house was opened as a museum in 1948, 10 years after Stanislavsky's death. Much of the interior has been preserved as it was when Stanislavsky lived there with the addition of exhibits on the life and work of the actor.
