Located in the modern-style house which was once part of the Ryabushinsky estate, is the Aleksey Tolstoy House-Museum.  The museum was opened in 1987 in the apartment where the author lived from 1941 until his death in 1945, during which time he wrote the third part of his novel 'Peter I' as well as other works.  This museum is run as a branch of the State Literary Museum.
