State Museum of Oriental Art
The State Museum of Oriental Art was established as the Museum of the East in 1918 and has been housed in its present location in the large mansion known as Lunin House since 1960. The museum displays cultural items from Iran, India, the Caucasus, Central Asia, China, Japan, Korea, South-East Asia, Siberia and the Far North of Russia. The museum also has an exhibition dedicated to the work of Nicholas Roerich.
