Ulitsa Krasnaya Presnya turns into Zvenigorodskoe Shosse at Ploschad Krasnopresnenskaya Zastava, which is dominated by the impressive monument dedicated to the Revolution of 1905.  The monument was unveiled in 1980 on the 75 anniversary of the revolution and comprises large statues of eight people and one horse.  In the centre stands a man flying a banner with two armed men on either side.  To the left of this is a woman with her fists raised in the air and standing over a wounded man, while on the left of the central figures are two revolutionaries trying to bring a gendarme off his horse.
