Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Cathedral
The Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Cathedral is the largest catholic church in Russia and the cathedral of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Moscow. It was built between 1901 and 1911 in the Gothic revival style. The cathedral was closed after the Revolution and damaged during the Second World War. It was returned to the Catholic Church in 1996 and subsequently restored. Its organ was installed in 2005 after being donated by the Catholic Cathedral in Basil, Switzerland.
