Krasnaya Presnya Park was created in 1932 on the location where the Studenets Estate and gardens once stood.  In addition to the park's natural surroundings you will also find here one of Moscow's numerous statues of Vladimir Lenin. The monument here was unveiled in 1975 and is rather unusual for a Lenin statue as it depicts him at rest sat down reading a book.
