Standing at the top of Vorobyovy Gory (Sparrow Hills) is the Trinity Church on Vorobyovy Gory.  The current version of the church was built between 1811 and 1813 in the empire style although there has been a church dedicated to the Holy Trinity here since at least the mid-15th century.  The church was never closed during the Soviet period even during the construction work of the neighbouring Moscow State University.
