Zhivopisny Bridge means Picturesque Bridge and was opened in 2007 becoming the first cable-stayed bridge over the River Moskva.  Instead of just crossing the river, the 1460 metre long bridge actually runs along the river for some distance in the shape of an 's'.  In the centre of the bridge's red arch is a platform that was intended to become a restaurant, although this never happened due to fire safety concerns.
