Moscow-Petushki Monument
Situated on Ploschad Borby are two unusual monuments dedicated to characters from the book 'Moscow-Petushki' (often published as 'Moscow to the End of the Line') by Venedikt Yerofeev. One statue depicts the main character Venichka and the other depicts his girlfriend in Petushki. The statues were unveiled in 2000. Originally it was planned to place the statue of Venichka at Moscow's Kursky Railway Station (from where he set off on his journey to Petushki) and to place the other statue in Petushki. However sadly this never happened and instead they were placed together in this small park.
