In a court yard off Ulitsa Malaya Pirogovskaya, which runs parallel below Ulitsa Bolshaya Pirogovskaya, is the former home and workshop of the artist Pavel Korin, which in 1968 was turned into the Pavel Korin House-Museum. The museum displays the work of the artist who is most known for his unfinished giant painting called 'Farewell to Rus' depicting the last service of Patriarch Tikhon in the Dormition Cathedral in the Kremlin. The museum is run as a branch of the State Tretyakov Gallery.
