The Vinzavod Centre of Modern Art was founded in 2007 in what was once the Moskovskaya Bavaria Winery. The name Vinzavod (also transliterated as Winzavod) means Winery in Russian. The centre's exhibitions halls are located in various sectors of the old winery. The centre annually holds the popular Best of Russia exhibition which displays the best Russian amateur photos of the past year.
