Nikolai Chernyshevsky Monument
In Skver Chernyshevshogo (Chernyshev Gardens), which is situated just next to the Boulevard Ring, is a statue of the 19th century Russian revolutionary democrat and philosopher Nikolay Chernyshevsky. Chernyshevsky was born and died in the city of Saratov and is famous for his novel 'What Is To Be Done?' which had a massive influence on later Russian revolutionaries, including Vladimir Lenin.
