Andrey Bely Memorial Apartment

Andrey Bely Memorial Apartment (July 2013)

The Russian writer and poet Andrey Bely spent the first 20 years of his life living in an apartment on Old Arbat which in 2000 was turned into a memorial apartment.  The rooms have been reconstructed to look as they would have when Bely lived there and one of the room's walls is taken up by a reproduction of graph drawn by Bely to reflect all the influences throughout his life.  The museum is run as a branch of the Aleksandr Pushkin State Museum. Admission to this museum is free on the third Sunday of the month.
