Lipetsk Railway Station
Lipetsk Railway Station is located relatively close to the city centre on one of the city's main streets - Ulitsa Gagarina. You can get to the centre from the station by buses No. 2 or No. 12 or on any trolleybus or minibus (marshruktka) which stop at Ploschad Lenina/Sobornaya Ploschad (Плошадь Ленина/Соборная Площадь).

Lipetsk Bus Station
Lipetsk Bus Station is located quite far from the city centre, however lots of public transport connect it with the centre as it is located on a main street. From the railway station you can take minibus (marshrutka) No. 323 or No. 378, or trolleybus No. 1 or No. 12.

Lipetsk Airport
Lipetsk Airport is located about 15km north-west of the city centre. To get to the airport from the railway station you can take bus No. 119 which runs four times a day. At the airport buses leave from the passenger terminal.

Getting to/from Lipetsk
Lipetsk is situated on the railway which connects Moscow with the south of Russia. Lipetsk can be used as a base for visiting the cities of Yeletsk and Zadonsk. A visit to Lipetsk could also be combined with a trip to Tambov.
From Moscow
Several long-distance trains heading south connect Moscow with Lipetsk. A convenient option is the Lipetsk premium train which runs between Moscow's Paveletsky Railway station and Lipetsk Railway Station. It leaves both ends late evening and arrives early morning. Buses between Moscow and Lipetsk run frequently, around 1 an hour, and take 7 hours. From Moscow, buses leave from outside Paveletsky Railway Station.
UTair and Polyot operate flights from Moscow's Domodedovo and Vnukovo Airports, respectively, to Lipetsk Airport. There are 3 or 4 flights a day in both directions and it takes just over 1 hour.
From St Petersburg
The most convenient train from St Petersburg is the St Petersburg Moskovsky - Kislovodsk train which stops in Lipetsk on route. It usually runs on even days only and takes between 17 and 21 hours. From Tambov
There are usually 8 direct buses a day between Lipetsk and Tambov, which run from the Lipetsk Bus Station. It takes around 2 hours.
