Oryol Railway Station
Oryol Railway Station is located about 3km from the city centre. You can get to the centre from the railway station by bus No. 18 or trolleybuses No. 3 or No. 8. Also you can take any minibus (marshrutka) which goes to Ploschad Lenina (Площадь Ленина) or Ulitsa Turgeneva (Улица Тургенева).

From Moscow
By Train: In addition to standard long distance trains connecting Moscow with Oryol, there is also the special Turgenev premium ("firmenny") train, as well as many other premium trains such as the Pridneprovie (Moscow-Dnepropetrovsk), the Krym (Moscow-Simferopol), the Ugolyok (Moscow-Donetsk), the Belogorye (Moscow-Belgorod), the Solovey (Moscow-Kursk), the Nikolai Konarev (Moscow-Kharkiv) and the Seym (Moscow-Lgov).
By Express Train: Two express trains also connect Moscow with Oryol: the daily Moscow: Moscow Kursky - Oryol express train and the weekend Moscow Kursky - Kursk express train. These trains also stop at Mtsenk. Tickets must be bought as if for a long distance train.

On Bus: Из Орла до Мценска можно добраться на автобусе экспрессе который отправляется от автовокзала каждый час. Чтобы добраться до усадьбы Тругенева Спасское -Лутовиново нужно сесть на автобусы отправляющиеся с автовокзала.
On Elektrichka: 1 train a day, leaving Oryol after midday and returning in the afternoon. It takes around 1 hour to get to Mtsensk from Oryol.
