Inside the Kremlin
Eastern Towers of the Kremlin
Of the kremlin's seven surviving towers four of them are located on the eastern side. Running north to south these are the Pogorelaya (Alekseevskaya), Spasskaya, Semyonovskaya (Simeonovskaya) and Yamskaya (Troitskaya) Towers, which are all square in form. The walls which once ran between these towers have not survived apart from a section of wall attached to the Yamskaya Tower.
