Although a statue of Sergey Kirov has stood on the street which bears his name since 1947, this statue is the second of its type and was unveiled in 1977. The cast iron statue depicts the revolutionary holding his coat and standing on a marble pedestal. The stature is located in a small square almost opposite the start of Pereulok Kirova.
