St Parascheva Pyatnitsa's Church
The white St Parascheva Pyatnitsa's Church was completed in the early 18th century to serve as a place of worship for a local textile mill. The church is also known as the Nativity of Virgin Mary Church. In 1937 the church was closed and used as an NKVD prison, where prisoners were even executed. Afterwards the bell tower was destroyed and the building was left abandoned. The church was returned to worshipers in 1997 and underwent restoration work. Next to the church is the modern Vsetsaritsa Icon Chapel which was built in the early 21st century.
