The Penza Folk Art Museum is housed in a beautifully decorated building which looks like something out of a fairy-tale and is one of Penza's most famous landmarks. The museum’s objective is to teach people about folk applied art and crafts so that the traditions can be kept alive. The museum exhibits examples of wood carvings, carpet weaving and ceramic, glass and knitted handicrafts.
