Also on Mamaev Kurgan, immediately next to the memorial complex, is a hotel and cultural centre which comprises a small museum dedicated to Joseph Stalin. Unsurprisingly very few museums to the dictator still exist in Russia, so even despite its size it is a rather interesting museum detailing Stalin’s connection with the city which once bore his name.
