Our Lady of Kazan Church
Our Lady of Kazan Church was built between 1904 and 1910 as an embassy-church of the Staroladogozhsky Uspensky Convent in Staraya Ladoga. It was built in the Moscow baroque style with five small domes and included a separate bell tower and gate. In 1935 the church was closed and later used as a sewing and then furniture workshop. In 1989 it was reopened and became an embassy-church of the Spaso-Preobrazhensky Valaamsky Monastery.
