Around two-thirds down Moskovsky Prospekt is Ploschad Chernyshevskogo (Chernyshevsky Square) which features a statue of its namesake - the socialist revolutionary Nikolai Chernyshevsky, who served as a big influence on the thinking of Vladimir Lenin. The statue was unveiled in 1947.
