In 2009 a statue of the famous Russian bard Vladimir Vysotsky was unveiled in Voronezh. The monument depicts a bare-chested Vysotsky sat on a wrong-way-round on a chair holding his guitar. Although Vysotsky remains incredibly popular in Russia there were some criticisms of this monument as firstly he never visited Voronezh and secondly it is located near a Physical Education Institute and it cannot be said that Vysotsky set a good example of living a healthy lifestyle.
