Although you might not expect it considering the size of the city, Liski has a rather large and interesting regional museum. Its halls are each dedicated to local flora and fauna and the history of the district. It has separate rooms detailing prehistoric times, the Don Cossacks, the Second World War and local citizens of note. In addition the museum also comprises an art gallery displaying the work of local artists.
