St Nicholas' Galley Church

This church is called the St Nicholas' Galley Church to distinguish it from other churches dedicated to St Nicholas in the city. It is located where there was once a prier which is how it got its name from the type of trading ship which were used by traders and travellers. It was built in 1735 and is a 'ship' church in form with a hexagon-on-cube structure attached to a bell tower via a closed vestibule.
