Tula Pryanik Museum
Another product for which Tula is famous is the pryanik spiced-bread which usually contains a sweet filling. This museum dedicated to the treat was opened in 1996 in a building which was once owned by the Lyalin family of arms and samovar manufacturers and now is used to make pryaniks. The museum has exhibitions on how the pryaniks are made here and displays examples of pryaniks in a wide range of forms made especially for various events. The museum also has a shop where you can buy pryaniks made on the premises.
