Trinity Church
The Trinity Monastery, which was founded on the orders of Boris Godunov in 1597, once stood where the Trinity Church now stands. The church itself dates from 1742 and comprises a two-storey octagon-on-cube building with an attached bell tower. The monastery of which it was a part was dissolved in 1764. In 1940 the church was closed and used as a museum. It was returned to the Orthodox Church in the 1990s.
