On the opposite side of Museum Square and running along River Bezyolka is Victory Park, which in addition to its natural features also has several monuments dedicated to the Soviet Union's victory in the Second World War. The Alley of Heroes was established in 2001 and is bordered with busts of Belgorod's Heroes of the Soviet Union and ends with a bust of Marshal Zhukov. The Victory Monument depicts jubilant Soviet soldiers celebrating the victory.
