Priozersk

Priozersk is located in the north of the Leningrad Region close to the border with the Republic of Karelia. The city was originally founded by Novgorodians as the Korela Fortress and over the years has found itself as part of Russia, Sweden and Finland. Its main attraction today, apart from its natural surroundings, is the surviving Korela Fortress.
