  Kislovodsk literally translates as Sour Waters and it is one of the main cities of the Mineral Water resorts in the North Caucasus. Kislovodsk is famed for its natural springs of water said to have medicinal powers and as such Kislovodsk is a popular spa city. Many people come here to drink the waters and walk in the city’s park. From Kislovodsk it is very easy to visit other Mineral Waters resorts or go on tours to other parts of the Caucasus, including Dombai and Mount Elbrus.
