Zvenigorod

Zvenigorod is a rather typical city for the Moscow Region with the exception of the famous Savvino-Storozhevsky Monastery which is located just outside the city. The city also boasts two of the oldest surviving buildings in the Moscow Region dating from the time when Zvenigorod was the centre of an appendage principality of Moscow.
