The Armenian Church Complex is the official residence of the exarch (bishop) of the New-Nakhichevan and Russian Diocese of the Armenian Apostolic Church. The main feature of the complex is the cathedral which, as of 2013, is still under construction. The cathedral is being built in the traditional Armenian style and is 50 metres tall and topped with a dome which has a diameter of 21 metres.
