Tsvetnoy Bulvar, which translates as Flower Boulevard, does not form part of the boulevard ring but runs north from it up to the Garden Ring. It is located where the Neglinnaya River once flowed before being diverted underground. The boulevard starts at Trubnaya Ploschad where there is a tall column topped with a statue of St George slaying the dragon. The monument is dedicated to members of the police force who have been killed fulfilling their duties. Further up the boulevard is another monument depicting three peasant girls singing. Finally in the part of the boulevard opposite the Nikulin Circus there are several statues of clowns messing about.
