The grand and rather extravagant Palace of Agriculturalists was built between 2008 and 2010 as the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture and Food Production. It is located on Ulitsa Feodoseevskaya which starts close to the beginning of Ulitsa Bolshaya Krasnaya and runs parallel with the River Kazanka. The palace was built amid some controversy due to its proximity to the UNESCO protected Kremlin, but nevertheless it has since become one of the most famous modern sights in Kazan.
