Museum of Military Glory

Yaroslavl's Museum of Military Glory was opened in 1981 on the 40th anniversary of the formation of the Yaroslavl 234th infantry division and is a filial of the Yaroslavl Museum-Reserve. The museum is dedicated to the Soviet Victory during the Second World War and has on display weapons and military equipment as well as information, photographs, medals, uniforms and belongings of Soviet soldiers. Military equipment is on display outside as well as several reliefs of military leaders connected with Yaroslavl. Opposite to the museum is the Leontievskoe Cemetery which includes a memorial military cemetery.
