Konstantin Tsiolkovsky House-Museum

The house where Konstantin Tsiolkovsky lived for 29 years and where he wrote many of his most important scientific papers is now a house-museum dedicated to him and a memorial filial of the Museum of Cosmonautics. Tsiolkovsky died in 1935 and the museum was opened a year later in 1936. Although the museum was damaged during the Nazi occupation, the interior of the building has been restored to how it looked when Tsiolkovsky lived there and displays his actual belongings and information on his life and work.
